Fifth graders at Memorial School, under the direction of Paul Patrick, agriculture teacher at McMinnville High School, have planted Noble Fir seedlings as part of a science unit “Plants Make Seeds.” The class, under the direction of their teacher Gertrude Grant, had previously planted beans, squash and squash seeds as a classroom project. Students plant to plant the seedlings in their yards to be used in future years as Christmas trees.
